They are in some seriously bizarre places and it makes completing the game frustrating. After getting all the gems, there is no way you can find all the crates in the game without a guide. You're not going to find them without a guide. If you miss 1 or 2, you're basically screwed. There are wayyyyy too many crates in some levels. The game plays incredibly well and the graphics are stunning. I was excited because the Bandicoot looked better than ever.
